COMMENTS:   25 dedicated Riders showed up tonight.   Even though it was overcast, cool and light sprinkles were present - these Guys were ready to race!

Because we started the race in light sprinkles, we awarded “Rain Points”.    Rain Points are ½ of  the average number of Riders that have ridden this season.

6/15/11 is the 7th week of the 2011 Season.   The average number of “A” Riders in the previous 6 weeks was 64.   The winner of the 6/15/11 “A” Race received 32 Points – each successive Placed Rider received 1 Point less.

 

Now, there’s one rider who – even though he has asked us not to make a big deal about it – should receive special recognition.   He told us that 6/15/11 was his 1000th Race!   Wow!   That’s dedication!    We’re just pleased that the Grattan Race Series was able to provide 359 of those opportunities.

Who is this “masked man” you ask?    Well, let’s just say you can always HEAR him arrive at Grattan!
