GRATTAN RACE SERIES 2012
Bicycle Road Races at Grattan Raceway Park
7201 Lessiter Ave, Grattan MI
9 miles north and 15 miles east of downtown Grand Rapids
Every WEDNESDAY evening - May through August - except July 4th - 17 Nights
Registration: Opens 5:30 pm - CLOSES 6:30 pm .
Lineup at start - 6:40 pm. Race starts - 6:45 pm promptly.
"A" & "B" Classes - based on performance. Limit 100 Racers per class.
2 mile closed road course. 30+ miles minimum per night.
$15 per night May & June - - - $11 per night for 3 or more sequential nights.
$20 per night July & August - $13 per night for 3 or more sequential nights.
$175 for the season -17 nights. Preregister for the season for $150, if entire, signed Release
Form & Fee is received by MSS by April 28. (Entries received after April 28 will be returned.)
Entries are not transferable. Entry fees are non-refundable.
Approved CPSC helmet required. Clothing must cover shoulders. No aero bars.
Non-racers may ride on track 6:00 to 6:40 pm - $5 per night. Helmet required.
Under 18 must have parent/guardian signature on 2012 Grattan Entry and Release Form.
NO RIDERS ALLOWED PAST GATE BEFORE 6:00 PM AND BEFORE SIGNING IN.
NO PETS - NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
MONTHLY PRIZES: Gift Certificates from Bike Shop Sponsors
(A's - 3 places $75/$50/$25) (B's - 1 place $25)
SEASON PRIZES: Cash (A's & B's - 3 places each Class)
SEASON AGE-GROUP PRIZES: Cash (A's & B's - 1 place each Class)
Classes: Men 35+, 45+, 55+ and Women (no age break down)

SPECTATORS FREE. Spectators are encouraged to bring cookie prizes.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
No one allowed past gate before 6 pm. No alcoholic beverages - No Pets.
KIDS RACES: 2nd and last Wednesday of each month.
Kids must be registered BY 6:15 pm. Kids Races start promptly at 6:30 pm.
Distances: 50 meters, 1 mile or 2 miles.
Entry fee: $3 per night. Ribbons to all participants.
